We are raising money for an important charity to our member Thomas Davies, who sadly lost his brother earlier this year. Every penny raised will go to the cause, and we thought who better to write about this than Thomas himself so we have copied and pasted his message.

My Ultra White Collar Boxing Fight — Windsor Leisure Centre, 11 July 2026

My name is Thomas Davies, and on Saturday 11 July 2026, I will be stepping into the ring at Windsor Leisure Centre to take part in Ultra White Collar Boxing.

I am doing this fight in honour of my brother, Scott Davies, who sadly passed away on 13 January 2026 following a motorbike accident. Scott was only 32 years old, and losing him has left a huge hole in our family.

All the money I raise in Scott’s name will go directly to John Radcliffe Children’s Hospital in Oxford. This charity means more to us than words can say: back in December 2024, when my daughter was just 8 weeks old, she was admitted there, placed on life support, and spent time in a coma. The care and expertise of the team saved her life.

This cause was close to Scott’s heart too — we have supported the hospital together for a long time. Nothing I do can bring Scott back, but I hope this challenge will keep his legacy alive, raise vital funds for the hospital that saved my baby, and help other families going through the same frightening experience.
